Hi Paul – love your u-tube videos, but struggling to access your on-line shop – contacting you here in the off-chance that you are able to supply a replacement door lock for my Seimens WM14S392GB/08 washing machine – either that or please point me in the right direction to source one. Hi – I’ve watched a few of your super helpful videos to dismantle our Samsung WW85J54E0IW washing machine and remove the door rubber which was sticking in one spot to the stainless steel drum and partially melting. Having got the rubber seal off, I note the the drum does spin perfectly aligned within the plastic housing. It appears to be offset when I rotate the drum by hand.
Is that a problem that simply replacing the door seal (and cleaning the drum edges/lip) won’t fix, or should the drum spin slightly untrue.

I’m attempting to replace the door gasket on my friend’s Miele WDD030 washing machine W1 eco comfort plus (bought an aftermarket part, brand ones no longer seem to exist. I emailed Miele requesting a service manual – denied). Via your excellent video and others showing same-but-different machines, I’ve removed the top and front, and now face 2 counter-weights situated tightly around the front of the drum, restricting access. I saw a guy removing these (though on a Bosch) to allow replacement, being the most similar configuration I could find, I.E. one with a tight spring hoop around the inside seal around the drum. Removing the counter-weights on the WDD030 is non-trivial; other parts are attached e.g. pressure sensor (?) which feels like it’s attached to the drum housing…

Apart from ‘not worth it’ (though it was max a few yrs of operation), could you share ANY insights? Seems insane all this disassembly being necessary to replace the gasket. If it can be DIY replaced without escalating disassembly – I’d be massively grateful for some tips. I expect professional appraisal would be ‘scrap it’, but times are hard and it’d be a huge help if I could repair it. Thanks for reading and any brief wisdom you can share. Have a great day. Marty.

The hinge is still attached to the Hotpoint Ultima WMUD1043 Washing Machine with all the screws. The plastic on the door looks worn away from where the screw holes are. Is it possible to replace the inside plastic part of the door. If so where can I obtain this part.
