Zanussi ZWF01280W Washing Machine Frequently Stops During Cycle & Red Light Flashes
I have a Zanussi ZWF01280W Washing Machine. Increasingly slow to complete cycle. Often have to press start/pause button when machine stops and red light flashes. I guess it's not draining properly but there's no filter on this model. I'd like a service manual so I know how to get it apart and find the drain pump.

To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
- Clean the hoses, pump and pump housing thoroughly. Small clothing items can easily get stuck in the sump hose near the pump, which is often the cause of mid-cycle stops.
- If the machine is connected to a sink fitting, clean this as well to ensure water flows freely.
- Check the carbon brushes in the motor while you're doing the repair. Make sure they are not worn out, as worn brushes can trigger error codes and interrupt cycles.
Once you've cleaned and inspected these components, the machine should run through its cycle without interruption. Let us know how you get on.
