Siemens WM14P360GB Washing Machine Motor Will Not Function At All
We have a single parent mother and are trying to assist. She has the Siemens WM14P360GB washing machine that stopped functioning with an E43 fault which is listed as brushes.I have replace the brushes though there was still some wear left on the old ones.The motor will still not run in any wash selection.It drains, fills, door opens and the timer at the end of a program still shows 1 min without a door opening and does not clear.I do not have a test rig for the motor and have not been able to configure the wiring as yet and have found connection 3 to be for both brushes not individual brushes l and right,.Can you adviseThanks,Robin

Thank you for contacting us about the Siemens washing machine.
First, when testing the motor, disconnect the two wires from the carbon brushes before checking the circuit from the pin to the terminal. One of these wires has a heat sink protection unit, which might have gone open circuit, stopping the motor from running.
I have added some useful videos below that explain how to test a Bosch motor. Bosch and Siemens are essentially the same make.
You mentioned you have a WM14P360GB model. This is not the full model number; there should be a forward slash followed by two numbers after GB. I have provided an exploded diagram of the machine with all spare parts listed. Match the reference number to the genuine part number.
If the motor tests correctly and you can bench test it using the video, then the motor is good. This means you might have a wiring problem or a circuit board fault.
Without seeing the machine, it's hard to assist further, but I hope this information helps. Good luck with your repair!
