Sorry to hear about the issue with your Siemens washing machine. Error codes E16, F16, and sometimes F34 on Bosch, Neff, and Siemens machines usually point to door lock errors. This could be due to a problem with the door lock itself, the pin system on the door that fits into the lock, or possibly a wiring fault. Occasionally, though rarely, it might be an issue with the printed circuit board.

Start by checking the door pin, the door lock mechanism, and the wiring. If everything seems fine, consider replacing the door lock as they are not too expensive and this might solve the problem.

Use the reference number in the diagram to find the part you need in the parts list at the bottom of the page.
