Samsung WF80F5E0W2W/LE Washing Machine Stops Mid Cycle & Shows 3E Error / intermittent
I have a Samsung WF80F5E0W2W/LE Washing Machine. First it progressively over few months got worse and now does the 3E error. In test mode everything works fine. Changed pressure sensor now so its not that. Heating works. Nothing stuck in filter or the front rubbery pipes its clean. Spin cycles finished fully Machine runs a bit of time (before it was any moment in the cycle) then it just stops. Lights on panel blinking, i can press play/pause button and it will spin few times but stop. I'm thinking drain pump which sometimes after starting to drain makes banging thudding sound. But it usually drains normally and in tests also as i said. Only possible option left is the brains which i'm hoping its not. Any insight would be much appreciated, thank you in advance. Leo
Hi Leo,
Thanks for sending in your question regarding your Samsung WF80F5E0W2W/LE Washing Machine.
I think your machine has an early-type motor with carbon brushes. The E3 or 3E error code can mean the motor is not turning, or the circuit board is not getting the right signal.
Please remove the motor and check the carbon brushes, as this is a common fault. I have also included a video to help you.
Good luck with your repair.
Paul.
