NordMende TDC90WH Condenser Tumble Dryer Shows Error Lights & Stops the Cycle
Fault Description – Nordmende TDC90WH Condenser Dryer The machine shows two permanent orange lights on the display: Middle Dry Level indicator (centre wave symbol) Anti-crease / leaf indicator What has already been done: Full condensate pump replaced (new pump runs and pumps water successfully) Float/level microswitch tested and is working All pipes, hoses and filters thoroughly cleaned and free of lint Water tank float moves freely and tank is seated correctly Bypass test of the float switch was carried out – pump still runs but the same two lights come on after approximately 1 second The machine appears to detect water and tries to pump, but the control board still registers a fault and stops the cycle.

That said, condenser tumble dryers operate on a fairly standard principle. Hot air circulates through the drum, and moisture is collected at the condenser unit. From there, water drains to the pump, which then transfers it into the water collection tray.
Here are some steps to investigate the issue:
- Check that the pump is running during the cycle and actively moving water into the tray
- Try switching to the mechanical timer setting rather than the automatic moisture sensor mode
- Be aware that some machines have a moisture sensor built into the drum, which may terminate the cycle early if it detects sufficient dryness
