LG WTG1434VHF Washing Machine Shows AE Error Code

The AE error code on an LG washing machine indicates an Aqua Error (Water Leakage Detected). The anti-flood safety float switch located in the bottom base pan has been triggered by standing water or heavy condensation. Once tripped, the control board halts the cycle and continuously powers the drain pump to prevent domestic flooding.

Open the back of the machine and check the base to see where the water is coming from. There are several possible leaks, so look carefully.

This is not a UK machine, so I do not have manuals, wiring diagrams or videos for it. However, the problem is likely to be a leak in the bottom of the machine.
