LG RC9055AP2Z Heat Pump Tumble Dryer Makes Extremely Loud Noise

Thank you for sending the information and video regarding your LG RC9055AP2Z Heat Pump Tumble Dryer.

The sound has the harsh scrape of steel against steel, suggesting either a failing rear bearing, a fan catching on something, or worn drum support wheels.

Without the machine in front of me, I can only guide you towards the most likely areas. Please inspect the rear bearing, the fan assembly at the bottom, and any drum support wheels closely. Something appears to have shifted or failed, and I would strongly advise against using the machine until the fault is found.

I have included exploded diagrams to help you understand how the machine is assembled and assist with diagnosis. Unfortunately, as it is an LG model, I do not have a workshop manual. However, I have added all the information available to this file.
