Hotpoint Washer dryer Wd440p Dryer not working
Followed the video the thermostat seems at fault no circuitCoil reads about 45 ohmsThe dryer light indicator doesn't light when put on the program cycle?Would that be the thermostat cut out at fault?When measuring volts on coil I get about 76v
I will try and help with your HOTPOINT Washerdryer WD440P problem
If the fan motor is turning and you have no power going to the element it can either be one of the two thermostats one is an NTC sensor I believe the other one is a cut-out stat but you also have a thermal fuse built into a wire which is in the diagram below and not is 518. This Will Blow if the tumble dryer gets too hot so you need to make sure all the all the airflow passages are clear.
