Hotpoint Ultima sutcd97b6gm (uk) tumble dryer Screaming and not drying
So, it makes a high pitched screaming noise and although the dryer is spinning and getting hot, in fact there's steam coming from the clothes, it isn't drying. I can hear the pipe at the rear making a sucking noise and there's water in the drawer, maybe not as much as should be but its there.Model, sutcd97b6gm(uk)Ind code. 98568105500Serial. 903044177Above are all the codes I could find on the dryer.We haven't used it since it started acting up as we didn't want to make anything worse, but the faults were as follows.The dryer started making a screaming noise. I ensured everything was cleaned out, and as the noise seemed to eminate from somewhere near the pipes at the back, I disconnected them and made sure they weren't blocked.The screaming stopped for a while but I don't think it was anything I had done.I can hear a sucking noise from the pipes, similar to when you just about finish a drink with a straw and it makes that annoying sound?The dryer was hot, there was steam coming off the clothes but they weren't drying. As a complete layman, its as if the water was just going back in the drum.There was water in the drawer thing where its meant to collect but I think there wasn't enough.Thats all the information I can give.Please can you help me?Kind regards

I will try and address this the best I can, first, the machine getting hot but not drying the clothes I would check the fan which is 614 in the diagram below sometimes this can be clogged up with fluff, the screaming noise that you're hearing may be coming from a bearing or the jockey wheel or one of the felt pads or rollers at the front of the machine you will need to inspect these, the back bearing is also a problem this is a pear-shaped bearing 503 in the diagram this can wear and when it does wear out the shaft ends up rubbing on the steel casing and cutting into the shaft this would also make a screeching sound. I have added videos below to assist you but you are going to have to work your way around the appliance to find the problem I think on this model the pump should be running all the time and you should see water coming into the dispenser at the top if it is not then the water is not able to condense properly, therefore, it won't dry properly. any parts that you need are in the diagram below i have put links below to the correct one you need also some videos below to help you
