I will try and help with this problem Hotpoint Tumble Dryer FETV60CP 

this might be a heater or thermostat fault please see the videos below and test the compents 

Here are some other common reasons your dryer might not be working for other people reading this FAQ

As many tumble dryers have a different error of fault codes depending on the PCB,Printed Circuit Board that was fitted, you will need to look up the relevant fault for your model of the machine as the do differ from model to model,
Most faults can be worked out by a process of elimination,
If the tumble dryer is not staring and the programs can be selected this will indicate that either you have a fault on the machine or a possible start fault (CHECK DOOR LOCK AND START BUTTON)
On a lot of machines, a heater will stop the machine starting (check heater and thermostats or Ntc Sensor the exploded diagrams will show you where they are. There are normally a couple of stats on the heaters as well. these don’t always show up on the diagrams)
The drum not turning is a common fault (this can be belt fault caused by overloading or you may have a faulty pulley wheel or a drum bearing may have failed. It is also possible that the motor or capacitor has failed)
With PCB’s faults, it is possible to repair some faults like relays, capacitors, and link switches. Sometimes diodes or resistors fail because another component has caused them to blow.
