Hotpoint TCHL870BP Tumble Dryer Blowing Cold Air Not Heating Up?
Why Is my tumble blowing cold air? dryer not heating up? I have a condenser tumble dryer and it is not heating up I have cleaned all the filters empty the water tank, but I still have not go any heat do you think it may be the heating element
I will try and help you with your Hotpoint TCHL870BP Condenser tumble dryer problem
As you see in the exploded diagram below there are two thermostats on the top of the heater. You need to check these, they are a common fault, then you need to check the forward thermostat. If all these are okay you may have a problem with the heating element itself. If you do an Ohm’s reading on your multimeter you should be able to work out the wattage using Ohm's law calculator. the other common problem is possibly the switch in the pump unit may be faulty.
