Hotpoint SUTCD97B6PM Tumble Dryer not heating and a squeaking noise
My tumble dryer is making a squeaking noise and not heating it is not old but I can't seem to work out where the noise is coming from can you help me solve the two problems

First, let me address for noise issue this may be coming from the back bearing or it is possible it may be a pulley wheel it would be a good idea to take the lid off the machine and see if you can hear which area it is coming from sometimes you may get noise off the motor as well or one of the fan blades. with regards to the machine not heating it is possible that it could be one of the thermostats on the top of the heater which you can see in the diagram below. it could also be the forward thermostat at the front of the machine or you may have a problem with the pump switch. I have added an exploded diagram of the whole dryer so you can see where the components are and also added some useful videos to help you diagnose the problem with the machine.
