Hoover HBWD8514 Washing Machine Tumble Dryer Heating system fault

I will try and help with this problem Hoover Washing Machine HBWD 8514DAC-80 31800310

The best way to test your hoover washer dryer is to take the lid off the washing machine and the first thing I would do is a continuity check on the heating element, there are also a couple of thermostats next to that you will see it is next to the fan motor towards the front. Test these. the way they work is the washing machine will Tumble the clothes while the heater unit on the top is blowing hot air using the fan motor and the heating element through the Machine, a slow trickle of cold water comes from the water valve and goes down the condenser plate at the back this then catches the hot steamy air and condenses into liquid and every so often the pump will be activated and empty the water from the Machine.  I have put a full exploded diagram of your washing machine below and you will see part numbers next to them which you will be able to match up at the bottom of the page to the correct component you need.
