Grundig GTN38250HGCW Heat Pump Tumble Dryer Frozen on Program 6

Hi Paul, I have a Grundig GTN38250HGCW Heat Pump Tumble Dryer.Before I take any further action, I wanted to reach out to you about my problem before deciding whether to buy a new one or have it repaired. A couple of days ago, my tumble dryer stopped on program 6 and won’t change to any other program. The filters are clean, and I’ve also tried resetting it, but nothing seems to work. I searched for videos online but couldn't find anything helpful. Hopefully, you can help me out. We've had this tumble dryer for the last 5 years, it’s been used a lot but well taken care of.Looking forward to your response, hopefully with a positive solution.Thank you,Rafal

Hi sorry about your problem with Grundig GTN38250HGCW dryer. If the machine sticks on a program, it usually indicates a possible error on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). This machine is made by Beko, and they provide very good workshop manuals, which you can find below.

There is a shaft that runs through the knob on the front of the machine to the PCB, and within this, there is a very small plastic shaft. It’s possible that the shaft has either become dislodged or broken. This could be one reason why the machine is stuck on a program. However, normally, if you turn the power off and then back on again, the machine should reset to its factory settings and switch to a different program.

I suspect you may have a PCB issue, but without having the machine in front of me, it’s difficult to determine the exact problem. To help you further, I have included not only the wiring diagrams but also the full service manual for this machine. It’s over 90 pages long and covers almost everything.
