Grundig GTN38250HGCW Heat Pump Tumble Dryer Drum Stops Rotating
I have a Grundig GTN38250HGCW Heat Pump Tumble Dryer. It started about a week ago. When powered up and program selected and started, the machine will run for a few minutes and then the drum stops rotating. The display is ok and the timer continues to countdown as if the machine thinks the drum is still rotating. If you power down the machine and leave for a few minutes you can get it to restart but the same thing happens again (Drum stops rotating). I have been through the service test program and everything appeared to work as advertised. The stored error codes were related to opening the door mid program, program finished by customer and start/stop pressed when running.

Your tumble dryer was made by Beko, as Grundig is one of their brand names. First, check the motor capacitor. If you hear a low humming sound but the drum does not turn, the capacitor may be faulty.
