Cookology MCDW3BK Dishwasher Shows E1 & Ed Errors with Smell of Burnt Plastic
I have a Cookology MCDW3BK Dishwasher. It started with the control panel not responding, fixed itself after some time, replaced by E1 error then flashing Ed error. Last thing it was working properly but there was a smell of burnt plastic so I stopped the cycle forced drainage and haven't used it since.

I’m sorry to hear your Cookology MCDW3BK Dishwasher is showing an E1 error and has a burning smell.
These machines are made by Midea and sold in the UK under the Cookology brand. Sadly, there is very little technical information available for them.
Check that the dishwasher is filling with water to the right level. The burning smell may be linked to the heating system, but it is hard to be sure without seeing the machine.
