Hi John, sorry to hear about the problem with your Candy GVS C9DCG-80 tumble dryer. I am actually traveling at the moment, so I’m not in the workshop. I am working at my camper because I’m on my way to the IFA trade show in Berlin.

I’ve managed to get you the exploded parts and technical manual that show you all the error codes as well. On the exploded diagram, the part number 443/1017 may be the sensor you are looking for. You can do an ohms check on the actual sensor, but what I would also be looking at is the two wires going to the sensor. Follow them back all the way to the circuit board. Sometimes these can get chaffed, which means that the wires may be damaged. Therefore, you may be getting a false reading. However, you will be able to do a test on the NTC sensor.
