Bosch WTE84105GB/35 Condenser Tumble Dryer Clean Light Error

I have a Bosch WTE84105GB/35 Condenser Tumble Dryer. Cleaned the dryer but I still get this error. I took apart and cleaned the pump and sump, back heating element and front intake fan but still has the same issue. Happens on all programs, timed and sensor dry. Any advice appreciated!

Hi, thanks for your question about your Bosch condenser tumble dryer. You mentioned a clean light error, but you didn't say if the machine is starting at all. The clean light error could be due to a couple of issues.

First, there might be insufficient airflow through the machine. This could be a problem with either of the two fan blades attached to the motor, preventing air from blowing through the machine.

Second, you might have an issue with the condenser that needs cleaning. When cleaning it, remember to do so in both directions: front to back for the hot air system and left to right for the cold air system. This helps with the heat exchange where warm, moist air turns back into liquid and trickles down to the pump.

There could also be a problem with the pump unit. If the float pump chamber is full of water and can't transfer it to the collection tray at the top of the machine, this could cause issues. You can test these parts using the videos below.

When testing the heating circuit, ensure the element is in good condition using a multimeter and check the two thermostats. Also, check the forward NTC sensor if there's a heating system problem.

If there are blockages in the ducting, especially near the filter in the door, this would restrict airflow. Make sure there's no fluff around the NTC sensor as it could give false readings to the circuit board.

Lastly, some machines have a moisture sensor inside the drum that needs cleaning. If it doesn't detect water in the clothes, it might turn off during sensing programs. However, it should work fine on manual time settings.
