Bosch WAB24262GB/22 Washing Machine Makes Rubbing Noise
Hello, our Bosch WAB24262GB/22 washer makes a rubber like noise but not when spinning. It would be great if you could please let me know what it might be. I'm good with spanners I'll try doing it myself. Many thanks George

A rubbing noise may mean there is a problem with the drum. Try turning the drum by hand to check if it is warped. It could also be a faulty spider, as these can corrode and break on one of the legs.
Although the video below is on a different make, the principles apply across all brands, so you will find it very informative.
Without seeing the video, it is hard to diagnose the fault from a short description. I also tried calling you, but there was no reply.
