Bosch WAB24262GB/22 Washing Machine Makes Noise on Slow Turning Only, Silent Washing & Spinning
Hello Paul, thanks for your prompt reply, I've finally managed to set up a channel and upload the video on youtube. My Bosch WAB24262GB/22 washer is really quiet while washing and spinning. I did a service wash and thought that cured it but the noise returned when it cooled down. Hopefully you can watch it and give me your advise or use it for your Q&A section. Hi George, thanks very much for sending the YouTube video in regarding your Bosch WAB24262GB/22 Washing Machine.
It is a very distinctive noise. From the video, it looks like the drum is rubbing on the door seal. This is a common problem with these machines.
The drum may be warped, or the spider may have failed. If you pull back the door seal, you should see rubbing marks on it.
You can also remove the door seal and turn the drum. This will rule out anything stuck inside the drum.
In my view, the noise is definitely the drum rubbing against the rubber. Sorry, this is not good news.
