Blomberg TKF8451AG50 Tumble Dryer Cuts Out Mid Cycle Water Full
I have Blomberg TKF8451AG50 tumble dryer and the rear water tray is getting full triggering float cut off. But have fitted a new pump, checked operation with self test function, pump works fine in test mode pumping loads up. Pull out tray is always half full. pipe has been checked between pump and top tray. My logic says the pump is not running enough? Some sort of control module? I would be grateful for any advice, your videos have been a great help. (pump fitted was not a genuine one if this might be a cause, but has only really proven that the old pump was fine anyway as the symptoms haven't changed)Many thanks again.
I will try and help with this problem about Blomberg TKF8451AG50 Tumble Dryer,
Hi Michael,
Sorry to hear about the issue with your Blomberg tumble dryer. I'm away for three weeks, so I can't do any one-to-one calls to help you directly. However, I've managed to get you the full workshop manual for this machine, as it was made by Beko. I also have the wiring diagrams and exploded views of the machine.
I'm suspicious about the programme not letting the pump run for long. I doubt the programming on the circuit board has changed. It might be that the float switch isn't activating early enough, or the water isn't transferring correctly to the top container. Without the machine in front of me, it's hard to assist properly.
I've checked forums and found no notifications, but this workshop manual should help you understand how the machine works and provide technical information to solve the problem. I'm at the IFA Berlin trade show for three weeks, so contacting you directly is difficult.
Please don't give up on the machine; it's worth fixing. Some people with condenser dryers have fitted drain-off holes into the compartment to drain water naturally into a drainage system. This was a customer modification, but I thought it was ingenious and worth mentioning.
Have a great day, mate!
