Beko WTK92151W Washing Machine Does Not Finish Cycles
My Beko WTK92151W Washing Machine does the cycle, fills, washes, drains and then spins, like normal. After the final spin the screen just goes through it's time adjustment. Normally it reaches 0 on the clock. The drain pump does a short final drain, the display then says end and the door lock clicks. The screen just cycles round and the drum rotates slowly back and forth. I have to manually press the stop/start button to get it to end. It appears to be filling OK. The heater is working and I have checked the pump & drain pipe.
I will try and help with this problem about Beko WTK92151W Washing Machine,
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your question about your Beko washing machine. You mentioned it works fine until the end of the cycle. The drum keeps rotating clockwise and anti-clockwise, but the timer has finished counting down. This might be a problem with the motor or the circuit board.
I'm not entirely sure which motor is in your machine because of conflicting data. It seems like you have an induction motor controlled by a separate circuit board. In the exploded diagram below, the motor is labelled 63, and the circuit board is labelled 1251. If there's an issue with the circuit board, which is common, this could be the cause.
For older models, motors sometimes had carbon brushes, but I can't be certain. If so, you should check these brushes. For newer models, it's likely a fault with either the motor or the circuit board. Both parts are listed at the bottom of the page.
The workshop manual will guide you on how to test and locate problems. Check the circuit board for any dry joints on tracks and ensure all wiring connections are correct.
I'm sorry I can't be more specific without seeing the machine, but I hope this helps point you in the right direction. You have the workshop manual, exploded diagrams, wiring diagram, and full test procedure for this machine.
Good luck with your repair!
