Beko WTB741R2A Washing Machine Does Not Spin Or Drain At All

Hi, sorry to hear about the problem with your washing machine. You might have one issue where the machine isn't draining, which stops it from spinning for safety reasons, or you could have two separate faults.

First, check the sump hose at the base of the machine, labelled as reference number 1210 in the diagram. This hose connects to the pump from the bottom of the drum. Another possible issue is a blockage in the pump itself, marked as reference number 194. Remove the filter and ensure there is nothing obstructing it. Also, inspect the impeller for any small items like elastic bands.

If your waste hose is connected to a sink unit, check for any blockages in that system too. These are common issues that can cause a washing machine not to empty on time.

For the motor not spinning, this machine has a motor listed as part number 63 in the diagram. Check the carbon brushes on the motor for wear. If they are too short, this could be why the machine won't spin, though it's unrelated to the draining issue.
