Beko WML 15065 D Washing Machine Won't Start

He Dee, thanks for asking about your Beko washing machine. It sounds like the door interlock might be the problem. These aren't very expensive. If you are having to slam the door multiple times to get it activated, this does sound like the door interlock problem. 

I don’t know if you’re in the UK or abroad, as there was no phone number included but I can certainly guide you through fixing this yourself. Replacing the door lock on a Beko WML 15065 D is quite simple. I’ll include a video on how to replace the door interlock. It's quite simple. Check that the wiring is in good condition when you replace it and make sure you put the plug on the door interlock correctly.

Here is a quick breakdown of what the process involves:

• Safety First: Always unplug the machine from the electricity supply before starting.

• Releasing the Seal: Open the door and use a flat-blade screwdriver to carefully pry off the metal retaining spring holding the rubber door seal in place.

• Accessing the Lock: Peel the rubber door seal back. Reach behind the front panel while unscrewing the two screws (usually Phillips or Torx) holding the interlock in place.

• Removing the Lock: Slide the lock backward at a 45-degree angle. Give the wiring block a firm wiggle to pull it off.

• Checking the Wiring: Before fitting the new lock, closely inspect the wiring plug. If there are any black burn marks on the plastic connector, the wiring has been damaged and the terminals may need replacing as well. Otherwise, simply push the plug firmly into the new lock and reverse the steps to reassemble.
