Beko WMB71543W Washing Machine Object Stucked In Back Of The Drum
I have Beko WMB71543W washing machine. Bra wire stuck in the back of the drum. Can see one of your solutions is to take off the paddle and see if it can be fished out. Unfortunately I don't see a Beko paddle removal video on your web site and I am not sure which hole to push down on to find the 'holding clip', or indeed if the Beko paddles can be removed.
I will try and help with this problem about Beko WMB71543W Washing Machine,
Hi John,
I made this short video for you to explain everything, as sometimes a video is clearer than words. Below, you'll find the full workshop manual for your machine to assist you.
To get at the bra wire, you need to go through the sump hose or remove the heating element. There’s no other way to access it. If possible, use a borescope or something similar to look inside the drum. If that’s not an option, you’ll have to hook around and hope to find it. Sometimes, I use a torch inside the drum to see through the little holes.
If none of these methods work, drastic measures might be needed. I’ve seen others cut a small hole in the top of the drum (though I don’t recommend this). They accessed the item through this hole and then covered it with a plate and siliconed it together. As it’s on top, there’s less chance of leakage with good silicone adhesive.
It’s frustrating that manufacturers make sealed drums. They not only prevent changing bearings or spider but also cause issues like this where you can’t access or remove items from the drum.
Also, please take part in a poll I did about manufacturers building machines with shorter lifespans. I’ll put the link below.
