Customer Question

Hi Paul, I have this Beko RecycledTub WTK104121A 10 kg 1400 spin washing machine. There are water leaks from the bottom of the door seal that run down the front of the machine after the door is opened. I think this is a common issue that people face. Could you please help me about the issue? How can I solve it?

I will try and help with this problem about Beko RecycledTub WTK104121A Washing Machine,

Hi Barry, thanks for your question about your Beko washing machine. If water is dripping from the door seal after the cycle ends, it could be because the machine isn't level. Also, check inside the drum where the seal attaches at the bottom. There are small drain holes designed to let water flow back into the drum at the end of the cycle. Make sure these holes aren't blocked.

If the machine isn't level, this can cause issues too. The drum should be completely empty of water at the end of the cycle. Water might be collecting in the dip inside the door seal. I can't see how water would flow over the door seal and out if there's no water in the drum since these drain holes are lower than the lip of the door seal.

Also, check if water is tracking down from the soap drawer. The conditioner compartment might be blocked and full of water, but this would only leak if the machine isn't level.

For further assistance, my contact details are on the contact us page. I've included an exploded diagram of your machine showing that part number 54 is the door seal. Match this with the parts list at the bottom of the page if you need a replacement.

I've also added some videos on how to replace the door seal and other useful tips for Beko machines. The door seal is fully explained on page 27 of the workshop manual listed below. I hope this helps!

Also, ensure the drain holes at the bottom of the door seal are in the 6 o'clock position. If someone has worked on the machine before, they might have fitted the door seal incorrectly. This could also be due to a rare manufacturing fault. Check that these drain holes are correctly positioned at the bottom of the drum.
