Sorry to hear about the trouble with your tumble dryer. It sounds like you've tested both thermostats and checked the heating element. Don't forget to inspect any forward thermostats and the biometric sensors inside the drum that sense humidity levels. These can sometimes get dirty and give false readings.

I've added the workshop manual and wiring diagram for you. The workshop manual has test procedures for each component, and the wiring diagram shows where all the wires should go. A bad connection or broken wire could cause this issue, so inspect them carefully. Also, check the pump float switch, as it might accidentally activate and cut off the heating system.
