I will try and help with this problem about Beko DTKCE90021W Condenser Tumble Dryer,

Hi, thanks for your question about the Beko condenser tumble dryer, model DTKCE90021W. It seems like your dryer isn't condensing water efficiently. This means clothes are constantly heated, generating steam. Because the condensing process isn't working well, steam escapes, possibly through the seal you mentioned, but usually, it spreads throughout the machine. The PCB at the top gets condensation on it.

I've seen this before. It usually happens if the dryer is in a very warm room or there's a blockage in the system, preventing efficient condensation in the condensing box. Here's how it works: the heater warms the air that enters the machine. This air evaporates water from clothes and passes through a filter at the front of the door. It then travels through ducting to the collection or condensing box.

There are two airflow systems in this box: hot air from front to back and cold air from the side. If airflow is blocked, condensation on the aluminium plates can't happen properly. Make sure this collection box is clear of fluff and all vent tubes are unblocked.

Some Beko models have drain-off holes where pipes attach. Ensure these are clear too. In one video I made, a pipe was so blocked it turned into sludge, stopping water from reaching the pump system and collection tray at the top of the machine. If condensed water can't get to the pump system, it creates more vapour that collects on cold surfaces inside.

Check all pipes are clear and ensure water can move from the pump system to the collection tray. Make sure there are no blockages in the condensing box restricting airflow. There are two fan blades on the motor: one draws warm air through and another pulls cold air in. Any restrictions here will affect airflow.

Before replacing any seals, check these areas first as airflow issues are more likely than seal problems. I hope this helps! I've also included a workshop manual with information on dismantling, testing components, and diagnosing issues with error codes. There’s a wiring diagram and exploded views of components with reference numbers for spare parts.

I hope this information helps you. Thanks for contacting us!
