Beko DTBC10001W Condenser Tumble Dryer Has No Power At All
Hello, Im wondering if you can help. My Beko DTBC10001W condenser tumble dryer just stopped working. It Was working perfect but there's no power coming to it now... I have checked plug and socket and they are all fine I have checked plugs going into pcb with multimeter and the plug that goes into the pcb right behind the electric display isn't showing any reading. I have tried tracing it but it goes around the front of the drum. I thought it connected to ntc but they were small orange wires and I tested that and that was OK.. These small. Wires are white but covered in black all way down. The pcb board looks fine doesn't look like anything burn or woren. This is tumble dryer is 2 years old. Do you know what is causing no power to come to display all other plugs in pcb are getting reading on multimeter... Thanks alaina
I will try and help with this problem about Beko DTBC10001W Condenser Tumble Dryer,
Hi Elena,
Sorry to hear about the issue with your Beko condenser tumble dryer, model BTBC10001W. If there's no power coming into the machine, we need to run some tests. The power cable enters the dryer at the back right-hand side and connects to an electrical filter or suppressor. From there, two wires usually run to the printed circuit board (PCB).
First, check the electrical filter with a multimeter on the two connectors (live and neutral). If you have 240 volts there, follow the wires to the PCB. Unplug the connector from the PCB and check for 240 volts at that point. If you have 240 volts, then it's likely a PCB problem since it should be active if power is going into it. The display should also be working.
Circuit boards often fail due to various causes. Unfortunately, a new programmed circuit board can be expensive. I've included links at the top and bottom of the page for spare parts. You'll find exploded diagrams of your machine with reference numbers for each component, matching them to a list of genuine spare part numbers at the bottom.
If you're handy with electronics, consider separating the circuit board from the control panel and inspecting it for any blown components like resistors, diodes, or tracks. Moisture inside the machine could cause these issues if not well maintained.
I've also included a comprehensive 51-page workshop manual for your machine. It guides you through dismantling the machine and removing components if needed. You might find a second-hand circuit board in good condition on eBay or Facebook Marketplace. Sometimes people sell broken machines cheaply; they might have faults like a blown heating system or motor, but their PCBs could still be good.
I hope this information helps you replace either the faulty circuit board or electrical suppressor. Good luck with your repair.
All the best,
Paul
