Customer Question

Hi, I have a problem with the dryer not starting. The door switch is ok and I’ve changed the pcb thinking it was that but still not starting. I came across your very helpful video regarding the capacitor but on my dryer there is no noise at all from the motor but wondered if it could still be a faulty capacitor?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Neil

I will try and help with this problem Beko DSV64W Tumble Dryer

it is possible that the capacitor on the Motor may be faulty but normally you would hear the humming sound. it is possible that the motor itself may be faulty it is worth having it checked

I have put some exploded diagrams to assist you in your repair below and all the parts are available as well.

there is also a useful video on tumble dryer capacitors
