Beko DCY9316W Tumble Dryer Won’t Pump The Water Out

Hi, my Beko DCY9316W condenser tumble dryer keeps having an empty tank fault.I have it set up so it pumps straight out into the U-bend under the sink.I have tested the pump and it's dead so have got a replacement. It still isn't pumping out the drain pan. The microswitch is working fine.I have cleared out all the pipes, condenser unit, sensors and I still can't work out why the pump cycle isn't activating. Could it be a PCB fault? The dryer is working fine other than that.Thank you for your help.Adam

Hi Adam, sorry for the late reply. I've managed to get you the workshop manual, exploded diagrams, and a wiring diagram for your machine. If your tumble dryer isn't emptying, it could be due to a lack of voltage to the pump or the pump not transferring water despite getting voltage.

You can check everything using the workshop manual. I suggest attaching a voltage meter to the pump while running a cycle to see if it's receiving voltage. If no voltage is reaching the pump but the float switch is working correctly, there might be an issue with power from the circuit board. Unfortunately, I can't advise on checking this as I don't have the circuit board schematics.

First, determine if your pump is getting voltage. If it's not, you might need a replacement circuit board. I've included links to parts at the bottom of the page. You could also find a second-hand machine with a good circuit board to save money; otherwise, you'll need to buy a new one.
