Beko DCSC821W Condenser Tumble Dryer Tripping Electrics at the End of the Cycle

Customer Question

Hello there. I have a Beko DCSC821W tumble dryer that trips the electrics towards the end of a cycle. Only on big loads, small loads are fine. I have changed the heater assembly with thermostats and that has not rectified the issue. Generally the suppressor would trip it at the start not the end and the NTC sensor tests ok as far as I can see. Any ideas ? Thank you so muchAndy.

I will try and help with this problem about Beko DCSC821W Tumble Dryer,

Hi Andrew,

Thank you for your question about your Beko condenser tumble dryer. This issue often happens because dampness builds up around the heating element, causing the machine to trip at the end of the cycle. To fix this, you need to clean all the ducting units and the condenser. Moisture getting into the heating system is a common problem with these machines.

I've got you a full workshop manual and some useful videos on how to maintain your machine. It's important to vacuum out all the dust inside the machine, as dust restricts airflow and makes the condensing process less effective. This can cause the dryer to use more electricity than needed.

Make sure to thoroughly clean the condensing box, as air flows in two directions through it. The workshop manual will show you how to dismantle the machine, and I've included exploded diagrams that show every component. The reference numbers next to the parts match a list of spare parts at the bottom of the page.

You might not need to buy any new parts if everything is cleaned well. It's also a good idea to run an empty cycle for 30 to 40 minutes to dry out the whole system. If you do need spare parts, links are provided at the bottom of the page. If the heating element is damaged, it may need replacing.

I hope this information helps you. I've also added a wiring diagram so you can understand the electrical system. Thank you for contacting us, and feel free to reach out if you need further assistance.

All the best,
Paul
