Hi Akram,

Thanks for your email about your Beko BXDF25300X. If an element is tripping the electricity, it usually means it's going to earth and needs replacing. This is an easy job. I've included a link to all the spare parts you need at the top of the page and exploded diagrams of your machine at the bottom.

I've also found the workshop manual and wiring diagram for your machine to help with any future repairs. The wiring diagram is especially useful for understanding the connections on the selector switches.

Don't worry about the burning on the insulation; this is normal. You didn't need to remove the thermostat as it isn't related to your fault. The thermostat only controls when electricity goes to the element, so just reinstall it. Be careful not to kink the capillary tube as it's filled with gas and must not be damaged.

When setting up your cooker with the new grill element, remember to turn the timer back to manual. Many people forget this, and then the bottom oven won't work.
