In your message, you mentioned there's no grill heat and no oven heat. Just to confirm, have you checked whether the machine is accidentally set to automatic? This could prevent those functions from working, so it's worth double-checking.

You should conduct a multimeter test on the actual element to ensure the circuits haven't blown. In other words, you need to verify there's no continuity in any of the circuits on the element you're replacing.
