Beko B3T4823DW Heat Pump Tumble Dryer Takes Ages To Dry
HiDo you know how to get this Beko B3T4823DW heat pump tumble dryer into test mode? The issue is the t/d often but not always takes over 4 hrs to dry. It starts to dry when air can be felt going through the bottom LHS condensor grills (have to remove the plastic cover to put my hand in with t/d running to see if theres air being blown through.) If I can feel air, its drying. If no air is felt, no water collects and the clothes dont dry. Filters are clean. Condensor grills are clean. Water container is empty. T/d heats up but not sure it heats up enough to switch compressor on unless its been running ages.regards
I will try and help with this problem about Beko B3T4823DW Heat Pump Tumble Dryer,
Hi Tim,
Sorry to hear about the problem with your Beko tumble dryer. The B3T4823 model often gets blocked with fluff, especially around the evaporator and condenser. It's worth doing a full clean of all the parts.
To help you, I have included the workshop manual below. The compressor should run throughout the drying cycle. It creates the heat to dry the clothes and also condenses the warm, moist air.
I've also added the wiring diagram for you. In the workshop manual, you'll find a full diagnostic procedure and instructions on how to enter test mode. The test mode will guide you through potential issues, but it might not pinpoint the exact problem.
There are exploded diagrams at the bottom of the page showing every component. Match the reference number to the parts list to find any component you need.
It's very important to regularly clean these tumble dryers. If any ducts fill with fluff or airflow is restricted, drying will take much longer.
I hope this information helps you. Sorry for not responding sooner; I was away travelling. Good luck with your repair!
Thanks,
Paul
