ASKO W4114C.T.U Washing Machine Dispenser Tray's Metal Tool Fell Into the Soap Drawer Hose

September 04, 2026
Customer Question

See Video Attached. Trying to remove the metal tool stored in the dispenser tray; it fell into the hose that the detergent, etc. flows out of into the drum. Took off the lid, I can feel the the tool in the hose as it is flexible, but cannot get it out with a magnet or grabber tool as it is near a bend and stuck. I think I have to remove the control panel in order to remove the box that holds the dispenser tray as the hose is between the left side panel (facing the front of the machine) and the dispenser holding box. This is my first time working on any type of machine, I am worried about ruining the control panel if I do something wrong. If I leave the tool in, it might rust or fall into the drum eventually and cause more damage to my machine and clothes.

Hi Rebecca, sorry to hear about your problem regarding your ASKO W4114C.T.U Washing Machine.

Thank you for the detailed video. It explained the problem very clearly.

You have not allowed the YouTube video to be embedded. This makes it harder for others to see the problem.

I can watch it, but I am sorry that I cannot share it with others to show them what is happening.

Undo the two clips holding the hose to the soap drawer and drum. Once the hose is removed, you should be able to take out the tool.

I am sorry that I cannot provide manufacturer details, as they do not share enough technical information. Good luck with the repair, and thank you for getting in touch.

The ASKO video below shows how to take apart some of the machine. I cannot remember if I removed the front panel.

It is worth watching to see how well these machines are made.
