AEG LAV63610 Washing Machine Worn Out Carbon Brushes
Hi, Paul! I have been watching your videos all the way from Norway, and i really appriciate you doing all you can to fight the built-in-obsolescence in modern machines today. It is by far more sustainable to repair, than to throw away and by new. Thank you for your commitment to this case. I have an approx. 20 year old AEG Lavamat, and thanks to your videos, i have learnt that machines built in the early 2000s, was among the best. I can see what you meen, because it took me only 20 minutes to undo my worn out carbon brushes - and this was my first time ever opening up a washing machine. Easy access and good build quality are some of the reasons why i have decided to try and repair it. However i am struggling to find out where i can find new carbon brushes for my AEG LAV63610 Washing Machine. There are way too many model numbers online (confusing) and i cant seem to find my exact one. Perhaps my machine is way too old to have parts listed, because most people just throw away their 20 year old machine when it brakes? Maybe you can help and point me in the right direction?
